Our Philosophy
Training your dog can be one of your most satisfying endeavors. Learning how your dog learns, and how to teach him what you want is priceless.
The main focus on all our training is to teach the dog rather than correct the dog for something he hasn't learned yet. We use positive reinforcement training methods, often with both a clicker and food rewards.
Whether you just want a better-behaved, more relaxed furry friend at home, or if you want to learn to compete in agility, conformation, or any of the companion dog events— we would love to help you develop a great relationship with your dog through training!

I have been working with my Pug named Kismet to be a Therapy Dog on my own. I decided we needed a boost and we attended “Beyond the Basics” and “Canine Good Citizen” classes. With these classes and the advice we received, his obedience has taken a big leap forward. I never imagined I would be able to train a dog to be this good. He is becoming a truly take anywhere dog! The training has boosted his and my confidence to be the best!

Loved working with Terry! Answered ask my questions about my dog. Great trainer and gives you the tools to train your dog in a very positive manner. Start classes as a dog and handler finish as a team. Very knowledgeable about how specific breeds and temperaments will learn best. Highly recommend Happy Tails Dog Training Center!

We’ve taken puppy classes twice here... about 10 years apart. This time we’ll continue with more training. They have a great attitude about training, plenty of space, good equipment, and the best staff.
